sounds like your contractions are irregular right now, i have had 6 and they were all different. sounds like you need to call your ob dr. and ask him/her if you should go to the hospital. don`t wait too long girl or u may be havin that lil one at home !! one of my pregancies from experience i had lil cramps come n go for a cpl days with the loose bowels too and went to the hospital and had my son less than an hour that i arived at the hospital so it sounds like you need to start packin a few things in case. you do not have to be in bad pain either. one of my pregancies i hardly felt any pain at first then found out i was allready 8 dialated, and not to mention i had sooooo much pressure down there. good luck sweetie and congats on ur new baby.. everything will be fine. CALL YOUR DOCTOR NOW!!!! to get his opinion, because like you said this one is different for you than your others.

silly go to the hospital ! have them check you out and see if you are dialating and to monitor the contractions . with each pregnancy things may not feel as painful as the previous .
with my 3rd child i felt odd twinges in my lower back . that was all . i went to the bathroom and seen blood and started thinking the worse [placenta tearing apart from the uterine wall ] i went to the hospital , told them i was bleeding and felt twinges . they said i was probably going to go into labor in a few days , but since i was due they went ahead and did an exame .
they were surprised to find i was infact 8 centimeters dialated and was infact registering really huge contractions when placed on the monitors. my daughter was born with in 45 minutes of getting there .
when ever in doubt go to the hospital . the worse that can happen is being sent home .

It may or may not be. When I was pregnant, my doctor warned me to watch for regular contractions, increasing in intensity. Just pay attention to what your body is telling you. If you are concerned, you can call your doctor. That is what they are there for. Other possible signs would be a dull back ache and / or your water breaking. Your contractions may just be Braxton-Hicks contractions which are usually mild, relatively painless contractions which help prepare your uterus for labor.
I am not a doctor, so take me words as you will. Just wanted to share what I know from my own experience.

at the same time as i replaced into 80% effaced and dilated to a three, I had a checkup on a Friday. My well being care service suggested i imagine you may want to have the child this weekend. I had him at right here Monday at 37 weeks. Early or latent exertions is at the same time as your cervix opens to a three so quickly you'd be contained in the 2d degree which starts at a 4. yet do not take my note for it!

Every pregnancy is different. You might be in false labor. call your doctor and see what he/she thinks you should do. Or goto the hospital on your own and have them put you on that machine that tells if your in true labor. Good luck and congrats.

Well, not all pregnancies and/or labors are the same, you should go get checked as soon as you can, you really don't want to have your baby at home all alone do you?

I agree that you should call your doctor. I know my mom, when she had her third baby, she had so much false labor and she went to the hospital numerous times just to find out it wasn't quite time. But by all means, call your doctor!
