This depends on how mature each of you are and if you have things in common.
I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 27. We both have steady jobs and neither one of us party. He's more of a "kid at heart" than I am, so we both seem to be about the same age, which helps a lot. We might not know a lot of the same people, but we have a lot of common interests and simmilar views on things, so we get along great.
On the other hand in your case if the guys is a well adjusted adult (that is to say that he has found his place and is a valuable member of society) and the girl is still enjoying the perks of being a teenager (the overall lack of responsibility, partyin, etc.) don't expect it to last very long.

Age is only a number for pieces of paper. If you two truly love each other than age should never be made an issue. I am in this same kind of situation right now. Don't worry about anything but how the two of you feel about each other. In the end, that is all that matters. You both will be the ones seeing each other for quite possibly the rest of your lives so what does everyone elses opinion matter? All you need is love...damn everything else!

nope i dont think so long as he good to her no biggy. i like older men couse the ones that were my age were too childish. but my hubby is 7 months older than me. i have dated guy at 18 that was 27.

My husband is 8 years older then me.
If your over 18 then 8 years is fine.Under 18 then 8 years is gross.

at 18 your old enough you r legal. so it dont really matter.
plus is only 8 yrs different. no biggie
