Someone said that they were taking NASCAR off of Fox, and only going to show it on FX and TNT. This upsets me, seeing as I don't have FX or TNT. I want to know if this is true.

Nascar will not be on Fox or FX for the rest of the year. NBC and TNT are taking over for the rest of the year.
Also, FOX will no longer be broadcasting the Busch races anymore.

Fox,Fx,TNT,and NBC have been sharing Nascar broadcasting since 2001 I think basically Fox and their affiliates have taken the first half of the season and NBC and their affiliates have taken the last half if you think that's complicated just wait until next year when NBC drops out I think the season broadcast rights are going to be broken up even more with yet at least 2 more networks then it;s really going to be a mess.

With the current television contract, FOX/FX shows nearly the entire first half of the season and NBC/TNT broadcast the second half of the season. The break is normally after the second Daytona race even though it is not exactly half way.
Since they went to this format, the two networks switched back and forth for broadcasting the Daytona 500.
Next year, FOX will take over the Daytona 500 for the next seven years. ABC/ESPN will come in and take over the races previously done by NBC/TNT.

Yup, half on two networks, half on the other 2. I hate NBC's commentary. I'm with ya dear, go #8, although I was happy to see Smoke win Saturday night. After Gordo and Johnson were out, I knew if Smoke won, it would be good for Jr. in the points standings, and not hurt him like it would've if the Bush Bros. came up to the front. It's gonna be an interesting 2nd half!!! I'll take a house right by ya, Smoke n Angel... I love Eldora and live 5 miles from a dirt track. That was how I got my racing bug. Crazy people don't know what they are missing!!!

I actually like the Fox crew and thought they do a pretty good job...recently they've cut the Bull DOWN before a race....though I do like Jeff Hammond's - cut-away car segment...it gives the basic fan some UNDER the hood fundamentals...D.W. has lost his edge....thoses races on TNT and FX don't make overall since...because it's us FANS that make NASCAR TOO and alot of fans can't afford CABLE or can't make it to the track(HEALTH reasons) but that's why I'M here and not THERE

Fox is finished for this year. NBC/TNT is taking over for the remainder of the year.
Next season Fox will be back....and the next 7 or 8 Daytona 500's will be on Fox.

Half of the NASCAR Nextel cup, and NASCAR Busch series season is on FOX or FX and the other half of the season it is on TNT and NBC

till the end of this season TNT and NBC have the races. starting next season races will either be on ABC or ESPN...which I think spells trouble..because ESPN has the habit of taping and broadcasting later...which would serioulsy tick me off. ABC isn't really know for their motorsport telecasting so it could be interesting. But ABC and ESPN got like a 6 year deal with NASCAR; it really sucks for people who don't have cable.

Yup for the rest of the year and it stinks cause the nbc guys SUCK..Only 7 will be on TNT and none on fx, so u wont miss much

Only for the rest of the year and then its on NBC. The NBC announcers really suck and say stupid stuff like "Well, I wonder if he realizes he hit that guy." DUH!!! I prefer it on FOX but it's all about the money... Sorry to say it but anymore NASCAR is a business and not what it once was... SIGH But I will always love racing no matter where it goes.
Hey Tony if you buy all that property around Eldora give me one of the houses I wouldnt complain about the noise LOL
