No, not a normal human eye. It can focus on something like a video camera I suppose..but your eye cannot zoom in to something and make the object appear closer than it actually is.

Our eyes cannot do that, due to the structure where the lens has limited flexibility and so cannot control in great differences the focus of light.
Besides, even if you want the eye to zoom in on an object, it would be more easier (and less disgusting) if there is a pair of binoculars / high-tech spectacles to help.

one extra advice stands out because the Fuji 9000. I own one and at 9mp it takes tremendous pictures. It has a 28-three hundred lens with coaching guide zoom so it truly works in all applications. pleasant video clips as solid even if, as you aspect out, not the coolest of a cam corder.

no its more like a television camera, with focus on all things near and far . the only way to zoom is to move closer to the object.

its not possible. A Zoom lens works be adjust the distance between the different lenses. Your eye has only one lens which to focus light with.

It would be cool though if you could
