I absolutely love a good thunderstorm. It's pouring and storming outside right now as I type this, and it's invigorating, relaxing, enchanting, and ethereal. It lends the day such a mysterious feeling. I've always loved when it rains. What about you?

Yes. I'm a Brit who moved to Sri Lanka. On average our rainstorms last several weeks at a time. Longest I've known it rain was 10 weeks with everything thrown in,lightening thunder the lot. Living in the foothills of the western province 8 miles inland we never run short of water but we do have power generation problems. Can't win them all. But yes - I like the rain!

I especially love it when it's over the weekend where you can stay a little longer in bed, just listen to the pitty-pat of the pouring rain or at night where you can watch the lightning as it criscrosses in the sky...such an enchanting feeling! :-)

Yes, it is doing the same thing now... My son and I cleaned out his closet...and now I am sitting here,, in the dark room,,,because it is so rainy and cloudy, and the water is hitting the ground,,,like a beautiful waterfall.
The only bad thing about rainstorms.. are that ....if you live in low areas,,,then you are most likely biting your nails, and praying that the rain stops so that it won't come into your home.
Our neighbors ditch across the street was clogged therefore a stream of water was running into our yard last week, and flooding it...so i called my husband and he came home for a minute to unclogged their ditch,,and also,, our pool was running over,,,,,,,
This is a great day for a book, and a pot of gumbo!!!

Yes, I feel the same. We have been having a lot rain and thunderstorm's and I love to sit on the porch and smell the rain.

My husband and I really enjoy watching thunder storms. The best one we saw was over the ocean. You could see for miles! Quite a treat for us, as we live in the mountains and only usually get to see storms that are right near us.

i Love when it storms. It's a GREAT time to snuggle up with your honey and do some naughty things. Excuse me for being risque, but the rain makes me h.o.rny. REALLY turns me on.

I too love lightening and thunder when I'm by myself , but my 4 year old twins are frightened by the thunder and my wife is terrified of lightening so it makes it hard to enjoy nature's show when with the family
