The only spleen operation is removal and that is reasonably safe procedure involving tying an artery and vein and taking it out.

any operation can have its unexpected dangers, but most of them go really well, a spleen removal is a pretty simple proceduce and should go very quicly and easily. What happened to her spleen?

Most operations these days are safe my mom is getting an operation next week for breast cancer and i am confident she will be okay.......I'm sure your sister will be okay also because medical science has come so far in the past years there isnt anything to worry about good luck& much love
