This works very well, buy some 20 Mule Team Borax soap, go to one of the dollar stores and buy one of the ketchup squirt bottles, put the dry soap in the bottle and apply around baseboards, kitchen cabinets, anywhere you see the ants. Leave the Borax lay for a few days until you no longer see the ants, they will carry the Borax back to their nest and it will kill them. When you no longer see any signs of the ants vacuum up remaing Borax, Not only will you be rid of the ants, but you will have the remaining laundry soap to do laundry with. I have used this for years and my grandmother also used it. It works and it is cheap.

They come in looking for either food, water, or a dry place. Ants usually live underground (subterranian) but will rise up tot he surface when it rains a lot. This is when you see ant hills (mounds, beds).

They come in thru minute cracks in the dwelling. Between brick and mortar, weepholes, under siding, pysical holes, sometimes up little-used plumbing drain lines.

As far as killing on the spot, try a spray like Raid or Black Flag made for ants. Then treat outside with Amdro or Tallstar, following package directions. If you find htem inside (often enar pantries or bathrooms), go outside and look on the ground near that. You will probably find an ant bed piled up against yoru home, and that is how they are getting in.

Oh, and ants eat termites. So be sure you don't have termites in yoru house! Most ant killers will also kill termites, but if you have a swarm in the wall, you need to call a pro.

They come in just about everywhere. through cracks in the windows, doors thru basements, and crawl spaces. once they have entered you can bet it's going to take awhile to get rid of. there are some fantastic products you can buy from the hardware store. ( raid is 1st on my list) But let me clue you in a couple old wives solutions. 1st off take regular table salt and pour it around the parimeter of your house.( for some reason ants won't cross the salt ) Now for the little buggers inside your house. peel a cucumber and place the dark green side down. Place the strips where ever you see the ants. The will eat the cucmber (because it is sweet) but it is poison to them. I hope this helps

Any small opening around doors, windows, around pipes....I have heard of tried these things: If you have a covered porch, sprinkle baby powder at the base of the door, ants can't or won't go through the babypowder. Wipe off kitchen counters with a mixture of 1/2 vinegar and water. Ants do not like vinegar. Hope this helps

They enter through cracks in anything, like foundation or maybe the sealant that u have on ur door usually weather stripping is missing or you have been leaving ur door open r many other reasons. To get rid of them use ant traps or have an exterminator come out and spray for bugs.

They enter on their many tiny little feetsies, and IF they get embedded in your gonads, you can kiss your *** goodbye!
