Typical/Minimum/Standard 5000 x 2500mm. I don't think you can make it any smaller.

Architects usually assume this when setting out parking. If there are physical obstructions then it's advisable to make the spaces larger - ie: to open doors, ease of parking manouvres. Note also that these dimensions apply only to end-on parking. Parallel parking spaces tend to be longer.

depends when the space was built as there are no set dimensions just concensuses as cars have got bigger in the last 20 years spaces and garages shouly logically have got bigger to compensate however genraly they have got smaller. I had a 1970's garage which was too small for a Ford Focus to get IN let alone get in and open the doors but the deeds show it to fit a 'family car' I think they meant and austin 6!!

Check with local city/county ordinances. Usually, a park space doesn't have to be a certain dimension.
