Yes it will work within 30 mins to an hour. Thats not the best thing to take anymore its kinda outdated. Be sure you drink plenty of fluids or you will get dehydrated.

Very old and violent reaction. And if overdose, expect to stay home all day.
Constipation is from poor diet lacking in vegetables and fruit.
Stay away from cheese and peanut butter. also avoid too much sitting. The stool tends to accumulate and dry out in the lower bowel. Drink 8 glasses of water during the day to wet it again and regulate yourself. Too much water can also give you the runs till dissipated.
Full bowels present themselves as a spare tire around the middle.

1/2hr after castor oil u`ll be on toilet praying for quick reversal.Wait until 6 hrs.
No more of it. It is outdated.

Yes, in my childhood, but now there are better ways to combat constipation. You are probably on the toilet by now.
