don't find ANY importance in MATERIAL objects! seriously.
haven't ever heard that the more object you own, they start to OWN YOU? and haven't you also heard, its all about the small things in life that make it great! you don't need a big screen tv or the hottest car (guys with hot cars are just trying to compensate for an inadequecy within themselves, ie small peni).
and then when you do ever spend the money on a very specail occasion it will be that much more specail!

Choose a career that you love! You will achieve a great deal of your happiness by doing work that you love. There are plenty of unhappy people making good money doing a job they hate!
Maintain close ties with family and friends. They too are a source of much happiness.
Try to find love and keep love.
Try to find inexpensive activities or hobbies that you can fall in love with, like camping, hiking, bike riding, etc.
Live within your means, even if it's not that much.
I think most happy people follow these rules, whether they know it or not, regardless of how much money they make.

Money is not everything! There are plenty of people who are rich and are absolutely miserable. I stay happy in life because God has given me my health, strength, and two beautiful and healthy children. You can always change your financial situation. With all the love I receive from my children, my family, and my spouse, I feel like the richest person in the world. Also, I am thank full for all my blessings because there is always someone out there worse off than myself.

Money does not make a person happy. Attitude does. As long as you make enough money to provide yourself with what you really need everything else is just gravy. I have seen just as many "poor" people that are happy as rich people. And vice versa I have seen as many rich people that are unhappy as poor people. So be happy there is no reason to be unhappy.

Material possessions are only the most important life attribute to weak minded individuals. True happiness lies within the heart and soul.

everyone is different ...some are material some are not ...but I believe that you do need to earn a certain amount to at least hold up a healthy wel lrounded life ...you don't need to be a million near b ut at least make enough to aquire some luxouries in life...as life is too short to deny yourself ..in my opinion

Money is often the source of much discontentment...
To be happy... find a modest mate with modest means... and make each other your "payment" in life.

try finding happiness in everyday acts, in small things, in usual things you never really observed before.... like take some time in looking at the grass grow... don't laugh... just enjoy each and every small, usual, boring thing u lay your eyes on ;) Or maybe you should get a lover, hehe;)
