i see a lot of questions on this category by girls who ask if they are too short or not,& when i see the answers given,it kind of suggests that being short is very sweet & petite.i mean i'm 5 ft 5 (for an asian girl of 17, that's pretty average-not too tall & not too short)a lot of guys seem to like short girls(i have a best friend who's very short & lots of guys think she looks sweet)anyway,i'm really happy with my height . just wanted to know if everyone else thinks that short girls are more lovable & cute than average or tall girls.cheers to everyone who answers!

if u ask me, there's no thing as an 'in' thing... If u're short, u just are short.. not much u can do abt it.. and i'm sure that it has its own charms.. Similarly, being tall has its own pros and cons.. so my advice is.. stay what u are.. don't really care if u're too short.

I am 5' 2" and while some people think it is cute to be short and petite, I always wished I was taller!
When I was younger, that was a while ago, I worked in the fashion industry in NYC, I was surrounded by all these tall models, it was terrible for my self esteem, I felt so much less than!
Now I believe that beauty isn't based on your height, there are beautiful women in all sizes!
I think younger guys might like shorter girls just because some of the guys are still growing and they are kinda short too :)
You sound just right to me! I would not worry about it.

As of lately, there are a lot of short man, so that super model height 5'7'' isn't like it used to be, guys feel more comfortable with a girl who's al leat 3-4 Inches shorter than them.

I am Asian as well, and also 5'5. I wish I was about an inch shorter, only because my husband is. lol! AS for everyone else, I don't know what they think. Both of my kids are tall for their age and I hope they grow up to be a bit taller than I am.

Yes shorter girls are the 'in' thing... why bcoz theres less and less tall people around. Statisticly speaking people are getting shorter than 50 years ago.
Shorter women are also less intimidating for guys (although taller women are hot too) plus since everyones getting shorter if shes shorter than him it makes him feel better... about himself.
read into that however you want.

I'm 5 ft 1 and I used to feel bad about it, I wanted to be taller but there's nothing I can do about it so I have finally accepted myself the way I am. If a boy is going to like you, he will like you because of your personality :)
