How would you have felt/done if it were you??........?

I live in Spain,work,study.... i just got from the bus some few minutes ago, while in the bus,there was this two bus officials who had leaflets and went around the bus from sit to sit asking questions to the passengers about "What should be done to improve the services offered by this bus", they asked everyone but not to us blacks who were also in the bus(4 of us), when they reached where we were sitted(we weren't all sitted together), they skipped and went to the next white person. i foind it quite annoying,
when we alighted i followed one of the officials who was asking passengers questions, i asked him "why he asked everyone, but not to us with Africans origin,?" he said he dint see me. and he went on and started saying "its ok i can ask you now", i left i told him its not important anymore, if he dint see the need to ask earlier, why now"
what do you think of this?

You handled the situation quite well. There are people like those bus officials everywhere and its a shame. But try to remember there are also good people out here too. I hope you reported those jerks. What they did is wrong.

I would be livid if that would have happened to me. It sounds racist, there is no good excuse that the bus officials could have come up with as to why they skipped you. I guess it goes to show that Americans are not the only people that has race issues.

I would've asked for one of those leaflets and told them something they could change in their services on the bus!

I think you did all you could do in the situation without starting a major fight. Unfortunately, there are just some ignorant people in the world that will never change.
