personally, i hate cheating, diving, anything like it. you see worse tackles on a sunday morning and players get straight up. but with the world cup at stake, is it time to get dirty?

This is the funniest thing I ever heard.
HELLO!!! ENGLAND WON THE ONLY WORLD CUP THEY HAVE BY CHEATING!!!!!
Possibly the biggest cheat in World Cup history.
Why don't you guys just learn how to play, instead of complaining and whining? Watching a game from the English Championship is one of the most boring experiences one can have in football. Only long passes, them some runnings, crossings to the area and trying to score on headers to the goal. There is much more in the game, you should try it. Then, after learning, maybe you can win something without cheating.

Because you are too busy styling your hair and wimping out and leaving the field.

And since when is groin-stomping considered "not cheating"? Or taking a PK before the ref blows the whistle?

All teams resort to a bit of "creative play." With the amount of adrenaline on the field, it happens. The difference is how the team executes their emotions. Some teams spend time diving (hello Italy). Some teams get really carried away with the professional fouls. England is a bit more polite with their foul play...but it's foul nonetheless. A cleat to the groin is NOT fair play.

Sorry guys (and girls)! Maybe 2010.

Now saying that England never cheats would be a big overstatement; but at this particular world cup England didn't and became victim of cheaters.

It is sad that WC provokes a racist feeling but fact is that Latino teams like Italy, Argentina, Portugal and even Brazil do cheat while Northern Europeans don't

No - it simply isn't British - not worth doing to win the cup - any of the teams that have cheated and go on to win will have that victory tainted. I cannot think of one England team player who would be able to look himself in the eye if he had cheated to win.

Take a look at the goal Crouch scored against Trinidad. Is pulling the defender's hair legal? No, it's not. It's called cheating!
England cheats as much as anybody. As long as they can get away with it, they'll do it.
