People are just mad at Ronaldo because well, he scored the winning penalty against England. Anyway, it's Rooney's stupidity that got him sent off.

Ronaldo doesn't cheat any more than the next guy. The English are just using him as a scapegoat for their failure. And Rooney didn't get red because of Ronaldo but for stomping Carvalho's groin. The rest is crap. Like Ronaldo winked. Is it a sin, or a foul, to wink?? And does Ronaldo boss the ref? Ridiculous, lame excuses.

how would ronaldo feel if it was the other way around is what he should be thinking! would he react the same as rooney did i think it was bang out of order him getting the red card i saw it as an accident he didn't mean to do what he did i have seen worse in this world cup and only free kicks been given

C. Ronaldo didn;t do anything. It was Rooney's lack of intelligence and his stubbornness and his poor sportsmanship that did him in. He knew that a yellow card was probably on his way, but he should have just been patient. England's attack was pretty watered down after Rooney got the boot, and that's probably the reason why they did not win the match against Portugal.

The English press r just using C.Ronaldo as a scapegoat coz no one wants 2 blame it on Rooney, coz after all he is the "Golden Boy"...wat retards... Rooney put the final nail in his own coffin wen, after holding onto Carvalho's leg, then stomping him in the groin, he pushed Ronaldo away and wen Rooney's teammates tried 2 pull him away he also shoved them. but the English also didn't like the ref coz he's Argentinian and there was the whole war wit Britain -v- Argentina....so it goes waaay back.
