what you have is called blossum end rot! its a vitamin defeciency! you need more calcium in the soil! try crushing up egg shells and putting them around the bottom of the plant!look at this link it will tell you all about it!

for a quick fix you can try watering them with miracle grow!and take off all the bad ones right away,as soon as you see that they are bad,because they are just depleating the plants nutrients that could be going to the newer good tomatoes!my mom s did this, this year and i got her to start watering them with a miracle grow feeder! (its just a sprayer that you put miracle grow in)(you can buy it at walmart in the gardening section!)any ways hers stopped doing it!i water mine with a miracle grow feeder one a week!that way i dont have to guess how much fertilizer is enough!and mine are flourishing! i am being over come by to many tomatos!

don't let the tomatoes touch the ground, stake them up and they should be fine... the ones with the bad bottoms are no good now

they sell really great planters that grow tomatoes hanging down, this has worked great for me, Also like #1 said turn them

You can't do anything once it's already started. Pull the plant up and throw out'a the garden and plant a new one.

My brother JUST resolved this problem.... inconsistent soil moisture is the problem.... water often and use mulch to help maintain the moisture level..... his are much better now.... hope it helps!!
