Hope u already know basics of a programming language. Now try to write some simple programs which can be used in real life. E.g.
1>A text editor like notepad in windows.
2>An interface to format floppys.
3> A shell wrapper to write CDs(in unix ) .
There can be innumerable such examples. This will give u a very good grind and teach u intricate programming logic. U can always think out more such projects. For further help u can always write to me. For the language u should choose c or java. C best book to start serious programming Kerningham Ritchie. JAVA Herbert Schildt. May your wishes all come true.

University is nice if you can afford it, or are already qualified enough... Don't let the "students" put you off - anyone can code, and moreover, it's fun learning. I would look for different tutorial sites as you go, depending what you want to learn - use a search engine for that. More importantly I would say is the choice of language you wish to start in - now that might be something worth asking around here!
Good luck, and enjoy all your coding efforts!
(I learnt to code BASIC at age 11 - with no teachers, just the manual for my Sinclair +2A - so I'm living proof that Uni is not the only way!)

Keep on trying, practice and get education whereever you can, school or not. Below is an URL that has links to articles, free compilers, tools and tutorials for many languages and environments. If you are confused about what's what, it is a great way to gain some general knowledge and try out various languages for free. Good luck!

I'm not aware of such sites. I suggest a more formal program of study through a University. Then, put your creative skills to work.

Hey,
itis not so easy
first you can learn Visual Basic {get totally free from Microsoft but it will be Enterprise edition} and study from the MSDN LIBRARY...
Also you can study from a book{better idea}
Then you can see.
