First: Go to Java and download Update 7 and then remove all older versions from Add/Remove programs.

http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_ie.jsp

Second: Go here and run the online scan and removal. Remove all that it finds.

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

If there is anything that housecall could not remove the go here and follow the procedure. Although they are using Anti-spy programs, Anti-Virus programs can be used following the same procedure.

If there is anything that hasn't been removed then go here and post a thread. Be sure to put the name of the virus or spyware in the thread. Watch for answers from onemjc, jibberjabber, trueorient, rattler243.

Trial version helps you scan your computer for free, but they will not remove all the infections, only few of them. They will ask you to buy the full version to be able to eliminate them all.

run a boot time scan. Most likely these have tied themselves to system critical files (IE, etc.). At boot time these programs are not yet critical and should be able to be removed.
