I disagree. I think Corzine is probably the smartest, and perhaps most honest Gov we've had in NJ in a long time. The problem is we have an extremely corrupt, self-serving legislature. They do NOTHING to benefit the people of NJ if it doesn't line their pockets or help their campaign financiers. Perhaps shutting down the Govt is the best way to get these toads of their asses.

The best way to deal with this is to not re-elect him. But until he does something illegal, there is nothing the legislature can do to put him out of office.
However, if the people of the state raise enough of a fuss, by contacting their representatives, those representatives can dig into his activities enough that he will be so busy defending his actions, or dealing with the inquiries that he won't have time to make any further un-pleasant changes.

From what I saw on the news today, the NJ legislature hasn't passed the budget. How can the governor be the problem if the legislature hasn't given him a spending bill to sign?

Didn't they just vote him in? Personally I think it is short sighted of anyone thinking that the only way to make up a deficit is by stealing more money from the tax payer. But New Jersey isn't my home of residence, so I really have no say here.

Seems to me that there should be a way of getting his a## out of office.
I hate politicians that act like that.
They are all thieves and liars to start with so why should they be allowed to f*ck up like that and retain office?
I am over by Detroit and look at the messes we have had and the city is on the verge of bankruptcy. So I feel for you.

Life is not fair.

Maybe he is doing this to get people's attention because they are not willing to sit down and discuss ways and means of balancing the budget.
