i missed my period last month and i spotted around the time i should have. Im not in extreme pain, but am cramping just a little. I went to the hospital last week and they said i didnt have ectopic, that i was fine. Does anyone know what it could be or has ever had this happen before? my husband and I are really worried at what is wrong.(if there is) Thanks.

This happened to my daughter as well, and when we went to the hospital, they ruled out ectopic pregnancy too and they also said everything was fine at the time, but they could not guarantee that it was not a start to a miscarriage. She was 7 weeks prego when we went to the hospital. She could not get into the doctors until she was 9 weeks due to an insurance problem, and when she went in, they did an ultra sound to make sure everything was still okay and the baby was dead and died 2 days after we went to the hospital. At least that was what the baby was measuring. Also her body did not rid of the fetus, she had to go in and have it removed. They waited until she would have been 12 weeks before they did a D&C on her. Good luck to you. We went through a lot. It was difficult.

I hope it's nothing serious. You better go to the doctor and get it checked. I started bleeding and it went on for a day when I was with my second pregnancy, but I was almost 8 months pregnant and I went to the hospital and they told me that it was "normal" and that I was in labour. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about as I too have heard that some women still have a period after they fall pregnant. Wish you all the best and don't worry, keep us posted!!

It happened to me when I was about 7 weeks pregnant, try to relax and not stress yourself it isn't good for the baby mine was just some spotting nothing to be worried about and they sent me home I layed down and elevated my feet, it's bad if the blood is bright red and it soaks a pad an hour. Good luck!

I have heard of people having their period while they are pregnant. That's why some people don't find out for a while. When I was pregnant I spotted also. I know how you feel about being scared, but everything was fine.

lot of reasons. to much strain or heavyness poss infection.. it happens.. they will monitor u more often no bathing for long times in hot water very bad thing.. they need to do ultraosound.. perhaps ur not the striong type to carry it or prolapse in uterus relax and do less for now.. no douching.. or heavy deep relations up there..
