I'm just wondering. I'm neither British nor an English fan, but I've been reading all these posts, and almost all the English fans are blaming Ronaldo. I personally think that Rooney actually deserves his red card and that England probably wouldve lost either way. So I'm wondering, do all of you guys really blame Ronaldo or Rooney for losing his temper?

If you'd read the articles and what was witnessed by whom, you'd be on the side of England because Ronaldo caused the red card to be issued to Rooney and he even winked at his fellow players on the Portugal bench after it was done! And just so you think someone is lying...that wink was caught on camera!

I've added the links below so you can read the reports and decide for yourself.

And yes, I'm an England fan, and WAS a Ronaldo fan, until all this hit the fan. He was way out of line, sportsmanship not showing in his actions one tiny bit, and I no longer have ANY respect for him whatsoever!

What do you mean the quantity of his footworks? in case you mean whilst he steps over the ball persistently, then this is a few million% of the effectiveness of his interest. for particular he's probably going one among the best gamers interior the international good now, if no longer the best, yet what does that could desire to do with english followers. Ronaldo is booed via fact of his ability, yet especially via fact he took a brilliant number of overeggerated falls contained in direction of the previous few seasons and interior the international cup. that isn't be able to be disputed, this is on tape so which you could be certain. Fernando Torres has exchange into the league's terrific striker this year, and he isn't booed via English followers everytime he touches the ball. i'm no longer a guy U fan, yet to assert the only reason human beings watch them is Ronaldo is ridiculous, and shows a loss of expertise of the sport. Rooney and Tevez are international type skills. Vidic, Ferdinand, Van der Sar, Hargreaves, are all good tier gamers. If Ronaldo left, guy U could proceed to be the main nicely-known team interior the international.

I like the English team. The team is built of superstars that play well on the club teams. However, the English team always finds a way to choke in the World Cup.

You guys are blaming Ronaldo for losing the game? Come on!! I see no one talking about how Gerrard, Lampard CHOKED when taking their penalty kicks.

Also, Ronaldo is doing when any good athlete does, he plays well and gives his best when he is on the field. NO MATTER WHICH TEAM IT IS!

No do not balme him entirely for the loss - but if we had kept ten men on the pitch then I think we looked the more likely winners - one thing it has done though is shown Ronaldo and others for what they really are - those who watch the English Premiership known he is a complete tosser who would rather cheat, and moan, and dive, and roll around feining injury, and try to get fellow professionals booked. This event may not be entirely his fault but it has certainly focused the world on his antics - Man U fans hate him now - if Portugal go on to win the cup, the victory will be tainted with what some (not all) of their players have done to con referees in more than one game during the competition.

Thank you for asking this question. I've been wondering too. Why are they all blaming Ronaldo for Rooney's red card? It's his own stupidity that got him sent off.

at the end of the day ronaldo winked to his other fellow team mates as if to say we are through to the next round (as becks had gone off with an injury) rooney was the only one ronaldo knew could get us through to the next round. ronaldo should be kicked out of man u too for betraying a country he plays for in the premiership. i dont blame rooney as he and ronaldo are meant to be team mates too . how would ronaldo feel if it was the other way around, or if it was a premiership game!!!!!!!!

Cristiano Ronaldo or fat Ronaldo?

Blame Sven, he f*cked up even before the screw up of picking the team. Theo Walcott, come on Sven, pick Defoe, Ashton or somebody that can put freakin' goals in.
