Depends on what kind of temperatures that you are used to. I can tell you that the months of December, January and February is the hottest season in Mauritius. It is also the season of cyclones. Different parts of the island are hotter than others as well. Port Louis, the capital, is very hot and humid during this period. Temperatures will get up to about 34 celcius (or mid-90's farenheit), which is not too bad on a breezy day, but the humidity is also high. Though the days are hot, the evenings are still enjoyable though, especially if you stay near the ocean. I love Mauritius any time of year, but my favorite season is in April and May.
