That algae fix may have limited oxygen. Get an extra powerhead or airpump NOW, also agitate the surface in anyway possible. Finally, fancy goldfish need 15 gallons each.Commons in a pond

For future reference, in case of green water, cover up the tank, letting no light in. Needless to say leave the light off. Also, do not feed. Do this for 3 days. Also, limit feedings, once a day with a pellet or 2 per fish depending on size, or soaked flakes, 2-4 per medium goldie. Try gettin the tank out of direct sunlight if applicable, and limit light to a max of 8 hours a day

Also, do 25-50% water changes like 5 times a day till this stops, this will remove toxic algae killer from the water

Hi, Please get a book on raising goldfish. I found a good one at the pet store. Few people know that goldfish respond very well to a little salt in their water. Also provide good aeration via a pump and filter or wetstone. Remember that fish swim in their toilet and its not long before its pretty unpleasant. If its a large tank to a 30-50% water change a couple times a week. Clean whole tank about once a month. Cull sick fish. Also the bottom of the tank has bacteria that eat the toxins so make sure you have some gravel to give them a place to live. When you wash your tank keep about a cup of the old gravel to start the bacteria growing again. And for god sakes buy fish from a good place! Dime store fish are usually sick as hell..........Good luck, Stew

Algae stoppers are very toxic! Your need strong aeration while using these medications. You may have overdosed ? Change water!
