Or, otherway put: why are artistic nudes against the "will of God"? I mean, I draw nudes, artistic ones, without any erotic meaning... why do all my religious friends tend to "spit me in the face" for that?

Btw, my friends are Christians, and hey say that anything that shows even a minor sign of erotism, is wrong... but in my opinion clothes are made to protect you, and considering not wearing them a sin, is hiding from others and thus from yourself..........

no, nudity isnt, it's the body's natural form - we are born naked, we leave the earth possesionless....
its when nudity becomes pornographic that it is a sin

I do not believe that nudity alone is a sin. God did not make people with clothing on them. But here's the rub.
Mankind is easily tempted by pleasure. Show a fat man food and sure enough I'm hungry... I mean he's hungry.
Artistic nudes ride a very fine line between art and pornography.
And while your intentions may very well be pure not every artist has your self control.
So is it possible there is a reason you like drawing nudes and be honest with yourself. Think why is it you like it so much... yes they are artistically beautiful but is there any chance there is more to it...
So these are some of the things your religious friends may be thinking... he talks a good story about only being interested for the art but is he really just getting his rocks off???
Has he really fooled himself that deeply that he really thinks he likes drawing nudes purely for the artistic pleasure??? Ah come on...
So is it a sin... no but it just rids the line so close to temptation that it is very easy to question your motives, which may in fact be purely artistic.
But hey if it's any consolation you do get to look at naked chicks on a regular basis right... lol sorry just kidding.

Nudity is not a sin. But ... It may be a cause for a sin likely to happen, either by you or you may me be a reason for the sin likely to be committed. You will eventually realize if you follow nudity for a longer period.
On the other hand, there are people who are saints / sadhus / priests who live and let others live even though they are nude for all the 365 / 366 days in a year throughout their life time. They won't let anybody to commit a sin in this Universe.

Nudity is NOT a sin.
All your religious friends who spit in your face for drawing nudes are immature and/or uptight and/or have a host of other issues to deal with.

Of course there is nothing wrong with nudity, whether you believe in God or not. And if it is erotic what is wrong with that? It is only when it is pornographic that it is objectionable and revolting. But there is a word of difference between them. Pornography relies on debasing sex and the people concerned, mostly women and only appeals to sick minds.
Who are your friends? Muslims?

They are prudes.
Nudity is considered an adjunct to sex. One should not gaze upon a naked body with lust and carnal ideas.
Your friends are way too uptight. Even the Supreme Court ruled that nudity, in and of itself, is not pornographic.

Absolutely NOT!!! And it's the hypocrisy of so-called religious people that have so many sexually oriented hang-ups that they literally wind up with mental problems, and even more unfortunate for normal people, our stinking "corruptament", (as I call it) is loaded with just such people:(

Not at all. The only "sin" is blind selfishness and messing up other people's minds and bodies.
