As said above, you can get pregnant anytime really.

Physiologically, you're only fertile for 2-3 days a month and the general rule is that the highest probability for pregnancy is at ovulation which takes place about 10 days from the onset of the period. That is a rule of thumb ONLY and should NOT be used as a guideline for planning intercourse. The body does strange things and really the pregnancy can occur anytime. There have been post-menopausal women who have gotten pregnant when in theory it shouldn't be possible.
The only way to not get pregnant is by using contraceptives or abstinence.

look up natural family planning . yuor not pregnant throughout your whole cycle like some might believe !
A woman is fertile for only about 100 to 120 hours during a month. normally you ovulate if you have a 24 day period on day 14 but the days before leading up to ovulation youcan be fertile as they sperm last about 24-48 hours though the egg is max 8-12 ....by monitoring it would give you a better idea of your body as not every one is the same
