I am at work and it is sooo boring. During downtime, which is a lot, I am like a security guard, a scene prop. I can't sleep, I could get fired. So, what ways can a Hotel Night Auditor stay awake?

When you get home, try to stay awake...you'll go right to sleep...try to go to sleep and you'll awake the whole time...

actually,

catch plenty of sleep during the off hours.

tips to beat sleep :--

1. hot indian coffee ( milk), hot indian tea ( milk)
2. smokin pot secretly n- best or cigs.
3. read some novels. books,
4. take occasional walks - long walks will tire you and you'll get more sleep.
5. call someone on the phone if that's possible.
6. try to do something that interests you...

Keep moving. Do some excercises or just keep walking. Coffee and sugar work temporarily, but when they wear off, you're even more tired than before, so avoid the candy and too much coffee. Also make sure you get lots of sleep before work. My mom and boyfriend both work night work and it was hard for them to get used to, but they worked it out. It's hard on your system, so take care of yourself!

Play lots of video games with no lights on, the light from the TV can keep you up pretty good, eat candy with sugar and go outside on a regular basis... if its freezing, which it should be, you'll stay up an hour after you go out.

Coffee is good long term.

When you find your self starting to nod off, get up and take a walk. Drink OJ and/or eat a candy bar. I find the sugar will wake me up.

well you can drink some coffee........coffee contain caffeine that well help you to stay awake while at work.........
