I think all of us have lied.
Sometimes lying is ethically the right thing to do.
For example:
During World War 2, if you were helping hide members of the Jewish faith in your attic, you would lie to the German soldier who asked you if you were hiding anyone.
Most ethical lying isn't quite this extreme, but you probably get the idea.
Remember that not all lying is automatically evil.

I have lied in the past. I had no choice but only because what I was doing was shameful. I regret the shameful act, I regret the lie. I came clean. I was forgiven and all is well but I shall never place myself in a situation where I need to lie ever again. No good can come from dishonesty.

Yeah, but...you know I prefer calling it something like not telling "truth and only truth so God help me" (I think it goes sth like that).
Nevertheless I try not to lie my brother and my two closest friend and until I succeed doing it I will not bother about some little lie that I do to some.....people.

Of course I did, didn't you? We may lie to make a joke, we may lie to protect ourselves, we may lie to protect somebody or something and we may lie to cause harm. This last one, no, I haven't.

White lies are okay.....Maybe even stretching the truth is OK.
I'd never tell a big lie.

the problem with lying is that if you get caught out in a bad lie just once nobody will ever completely trust you again.
it isn't worth it.

So the ends never justify the means.
So why is your fun any more justifiable?
Reality is stranger than fiction.
Be real and you will find your fun none the less.
