lions for the following reasons:
1. leopards are much smaller than lions
2. leopards are loners and lion pride animals (the leopard will be attacked by as many as 5 or 6 lions).
3. leopards are very quiet solitary creatures and I don't see them causing trouble with a lion pride and getting away with it.

Depend on who has does better on that day. Both have their own advantage and disadvantage so it would certainly be not a straight first set knock out fight. It can go in extra time and who ever get better penalty will take away the award.
