I dont see how argentina losing can be a problem? Sure, they're actually a really good team, but they lost? just like england and brazil. Who wudve thought that brazil wud lose to france?
Germany defeated argentina fair and square. Argentina was practically falling on the ground everytime germany tried to tackle them! there were many times where Argentina fouled but the referee never bothered and when they lost, who was the one who threw a huge fight yelling at the Germans? They lost through a penalty kickoff! That's just a fair shot! Their players kicked off, and Germany's players kicked off! Lehmann saved a few.. the Argentinian guy didnt? SO.. whats so unfair about that?

As long as Germany has Lehmann it will win any game with plenty kicks ;-) and it proved when Lehmann did this against Argentina. Also Germans players are well trained to kick the ball alone thats why they did not miss any penality kicks against Argentina.

I think it's all fair!Germans are great and I think they showed the best performance during this WM and they definitely deserved to win that match and they deserve to be the champions! This is not a biased opinion because I am a supporter of Ukraine (still very upset about them:((() So in my opinion Germans deserved it and all the talk about them winning because of home advantage is bullshit..Well, OK lets say they have the support of the crowd, but so do all other teams, there are plenty of them on the stadium and what is more every player knows that there are millions of fans watching them on TV and they have to do their best not to disappoint them...so every country has an equal chance! GO GERMANY

I think that Argentina deserved the win because there's a penalty for them they didn't take, before the end of the game, I think that the referee's in this world cup must get an another job.

Please...I 100% agree that Germany deserved to win. I was watching the whole match and I should admit that I was going head over toes when Germany won 4-2 in the penalty shoot-out. The German goalkeeper was a superb!.

Because Argentina outplayed Germany, they were only able to play (and score) when Pekerman told the argentinians to sit back and keep the result.

If they deserved to win so bad, they would of won it in regulation time. Argentina dominated this game. It was just a shame that Argentina's golie was hurt so early in the game.

Argentina had a clear penalty claim denied so I will have to say they really didn't deserve to lose, at least not this way.
