Liked it but the plot is not really original we have this scarred police that would not like women beingbeat up [Shaft, jake from teh jake and the fat man, Simon & Simon], corrupt bosses [similar to Dirty Harry] but I liked it though

No. There are better gangster movies ... like "Dark Passage",
"The Big Sleep", "The Maltese Falcon" ....
