I'm a woman and even i hate to admit it but men usually make better cooks than women,

Everyone should learn!!! They will not be living with parents forever, eating out is expensive, shows girlfriend/mates that they will not starve if left alone. They mite not like what the guys cooking, but they can always go do their own cooking.

Yes. A bachelor needs to know how to cook for himself. Most food in cans or takeout is not as healthy as food you cook yourself. Plus it's a good way to impress people. If and when you get married you may have to cook (especially if you have kids).

Yes, men should learn cooking for different reason.
1. so when they are alone they can fend for themself
2. so when they are in a relationship they can help

I can cook..But my hubby loves to do it and he is the much better one....so I let him do it.

I think that unless you want to spend all your time eating from a paper bag then Learn to cook.
And besides...it is a huge turn on when a guy offers to actually cook you a meal.

I am raising both a boy and a girl and they both are learning how to cook.

Dangerous answer Time-----, Men do make fine chefs as do women but their stamina in the kitchen keeps them apart.
For home cooking, I think it's great that men help out

Everyone who eats should know how to cook. Everyone who drives should know how to change a tire. Everyone who wears clothes should know how to do basic mending. And everyone who lives in Florida should know how to kill a cockroach. Excusing people from learning (and exercising) such basic skills on the basis of gender is silly.

yes, so he can share in the cooking when you get busy.
and my dad and my brother cook for themselves. dad is widowed and my brother got a divorce.
so men should know how to cook and not just put things in the microwave. lol.

I think so, after all its the age of equality. If you're hungry wouldn't it be nice to cook yourself something instead of opening a tin!

Everyone should be able to cook at least enough to feed themselves. You may not always have someone to do it for you.
