Well that depends. Did you fart in mixed company or gang up on someone and do violence?
You can't get a real answer without giving us the details.
You can do that, there is space for additional comments.

yes it may be fit punishment depending on the inappropriate behavior. if it meant someones safety or their life was in danger, or if it were something sexaully harassing.
word to you from one of the members of management, go to work to work, leave the play stuff at home. you work as a steelworker, i can imagine any inappropriate behavior could be dangerous.

Explain to your employer that you were unaware that such behavior was unacceptable.
If the deed was obviously unacceptable to people with common sense, then you will have to apologise and find a reasonable answer as to why you would not do it again.
Most companies would much rather keep a trained staff member than have to go through retraining a new one.

It depends on what you did. Many first offenses end in termination. We are an employment at will state,;unless you are in a union they can terminate you without cause.

It depends on what you did, but safety violations, sexual harrassment, etc can lead to suspension. Are you union? If so, talk to your union rep. If not, you will have to prove that you were wrongfully terminated or suspended. Good Luck
