it's an ever shifting state according and dictated by your own set of beliefs and perception.
personally, i don't trust the concept of normality too much, but how predictably boring is that?

the most seemingly normal people you meet are in reality i think also the ones who are constantly up to abnormal activities. had found that to be a disturbing trend.............

What you are saying is so true. Everybody believes, though they might not always admit, that they are a little crazy. Everyone behaves odd or stupid once in a while. Nobody is comletely 'normal'. These days, the percentage of people with mental diseases is increasing and so more people are becoming 'medically abnormal' as well.

I guess normal is 'socially acceptable'. And nobody conforms to society completely. There are good abnormals and bad abnormals- and there are no normals. I guess normal is like the ideal situations in science. They dont exist. They are just a platform to compare and contrast different abnormals.

Haven't got a postcard, will this do?

If normality is the average, then we all contribute to it. If I became more normal then the average would be further away... basically do what you think, and don't let anybody say it is wrong because they are comparing you to other people. You are not other people, you are you, so comparisons are pointless.

A myth. And it's all to do with standard distribution, or the bell curve. Most people cluster in the middle, and then the population evens out. Averages basically. Some people are at extremes, and most in the centre. It's all a continuum. Some people are nearer average, or "normal" than others.

Normal is simply what conforms to the 'norm' - ie what most people do. So, it was normal for a member of a cannibilistic tribe to eat people, it is normal for a Brit to whinge about the weather(!) etc etc - you get the drift!

Well I don't think there is such a thing - and thank goodness. Life would be boring if we were all "normal".

There's no such thing as normal- that's just what the majority do.
