im in seventh grade and i noe its independence day (besides-im not in america or american)

Actually, only John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The other 55 delegates signed the document on Aug. 2 of that year.

The Fourth of July is the day we sent King George III a letter saying we weren't going to take his tyranny any more. It is also the day the proclamation was read by town criers. The Declaration of Independence was actually signed on July 2. The reason we have fireworks on the 4th is because of the Revolution (symbolic). Did you know that several of the signers had their birthdays on the 4th and that several of them died on the 4th?
