there is a guy who wants to go to the movies with me but i dont really like him that much and i think he likes me alot and i dont know how to tell him that i dont want to go, i dont want to hurt his feelings!! what shuld i do?

Tell him you're not interested, simple as that. Just don't be too harsh. But since you like him a bit I don't understand why you just give it a try. Is he that hideous? smelly, broke? I'm sure he's none of the above and even if he is, you can tell him to bath if smelly, tell him to get a job if broke, unfortunately you can't do anything about looks but if he dresses comfortably and in a non-embarassing way and looking neat then why not. You'll never know that might be the man who'll treat you right for the rest of your life. Think about it - most of the time the one that you don't want is the one who will treat you right.

There really is no way not to hurt him in this situation. You can avoid him and keep making excuses not to go out with him but if you don't like him it's best not to play games with his head or heart. I would simply tell him you just want to be friends, and that you aren't interested in a relationship with him.

Just tell him you are in no position to date him. However, it does not hurt to go to 1 movie with him if you really do not want to hurt his feelings. The only danger is that he may not then understand that you mean it. So, best is to be plain and tell him you do not want to go.

The easiest thing to do is be honest and tell him tha you want to be a different type of friend with him. Also going with him to the movie might not be the best decision to make cause it could lead him on so do not go.

there is no way to not hurt his feelings. Either you sacrifice yourself and your feelings and go out with him(which in the end hurts him anyways because it's a lie), or you let him down softly. Say sorry, you're just not my type. It's the less damaging, honest answer.
