I would like to know where front centre and rear ( base ) go in sound card

you should read the installation papers on the sound card you might not have the hook up but if you do it will tell you if it is a sound blaster sound card go here:

read the manual, although some 5.1 cards the system plugs into one socket usually (green), and then the actual sub woof splits the cables for each speaker from itself.
