British TV presenter PAUL O'GRADY is in serious condition in hospital after suffering a heart attack, his second in four years. The 51-year-old was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent yesterday (30JUN06) complaining of severe chest pains and was rushed straight into intensive care. After a minor operation to assist blood flow he is now in a specialist cardiac unit - but is expected to make a full recovery. A source says, "He's out of intensive care but the situation is serious. He started feeling unwell in the morning." O'Grady - who found fame as drag queen comedienne LILY SAVAGE - was lucky to survive a massive cardiac arrest in 2002. He gave up smoking, but had started again after the death of his former gay partner last year (05).

As everyone else has said, heart attack! This should be a good enough reason to give up the ciggies! Bad for your health. Wish him to get well soon, he is so funny! My boyfriend has just informed me that he wasnt allowed to see the last England game against Portugal in case it brought on a 3rd heart attack. Thought he was joking at first but it was said on tv.

He had a suspected heart attack on Friday and was taken to hospital, he is said to be 'comfortable' and should make a full recovery. This is his second heart scare, he had a heart attack 5 years ago, he's 51yrs old and is now leading a healthy lifestyle after he was told to change his ways after his first heart scare.

He has had a heart attack and I think they have given him a transplant. They are optimistic he will make a full recovery and he has been sitting up joking and laughing. He had a TV brought in to watch England.

He collapsed with chest pains and had a blood clot removed from an artery near his heart. He's lucky to be alive, its been put down to his heavy smoking I think.
