Connery was okay as Arthur (though I think he phoned his performance in), but Gear was totally laughable as Lancelot. What a stick! What a goof!
Some of the battle scenes were fair, but this was not the best Arthur, not the best medieval, not the best costume drama, not the best anything. It was a serviceable film, on a par with, say "Dragonheart" ... cute presentation, but that's about it.

I didn't like it personally. It was too different from other historical movies, wasn't quite that accurate and I think that Gere shouldn't have been there, he's not the one to be imagined as a knight...

The one with Richard Gere and Sean Connery?

Eh. I thought Gere looked kinda funny in the end when he started swinging Excalibur with the film speed sped up.

Wasn't too crazy about it, but I liked it better than Fuqua's "King Arthur".

I thought it was kinda flat and slightly boring. There was no... "oomph" to it. It's not a BAD movie - it's just not too interesting. Connery cast as Arthur was very fitting, though.

I cried watching it. No, not at the end during that horribly saccharine love/death scenes. I cried during the big battle. MEEEE TOOOOO!!!! Damn it, even though you know it's all acting, the big battle was damn convincing. Just all the clash of swords and everything. Holy, ****, why was i born 800 years too late... *sigh*

... an astonishing movie ... but why do they have
blue roofs – I've never seen this before ...
But Connery is a little bit too old, to make Richard Gere
