Well, if I saw a book with something interesting on the cover i think my thoughts would go something like: "Ooo, that looks interesting. Let me read the back cover and flip through the pages a little." Rather than: "Ooo, that looks interesting. I'm buying it right now."

No I normally read the synopsis of the book to determine if it is something I would find of interest.
