I saw it the other night on CBS, so I wonder just how accurate the numbers are about the tidal wave at the end...the height, how fast it is & how far it reached inland. So if that were to happen, how much of it are they really getting from scientific fact based on a some lab model?
I'm sure that in reality, the wave height would be huge and probably move fast, but 600 miles inland, (as the movie said), even for an impact from space?
(I figured I'd just put this question in the Astronomy section, by the way.)
