when a man always witholds ejaculation during intercourse, can this act in any way affect the quality of the sperm?

it doesn't do much....the quality of the sperm is more dependant on the health of the man...you may end up with blue balls if you don't let it all go everytime...

No. Sperms are produced at the rate of something like 300million everyday. It takes a sperm about two weeks to reach full maturity and die, but production is an ongoing process, so you will always have some.

Witholding ejaculation long enough for your patner to reach a climax is good if you can do it most times. But you should also try to climax afterwards with her help. Best is actually simultaneously, but it takes a lot of time to synchronise that.

Don't think so. Sperm cells die every couple of days anyway so if he's not ejaculated for a couple of days, the old ones die and assuming his production is ok he'll get new ones.

Sperm quality does not depend on withholding. As sperm is utilised less, it remains stronger.
