What's even more amazing, actually infuriating to me, is that only about a quarter of the total population helped him into office the second time. Half our country that could vote didn't. I mean, either way we were voting for a loser this last election, but STILL, PEOPLE!! See what happens when you abdicate your most important responsibility as an American citizen? We could have had another Dem candidate win the primary--Kerry was a windbag, and an absolute moron for not stepping up with a vengeance to Bush and cronies when they called him a "flip-flopper". His staff should have had--could easily have had--loads of Bush clips on hand to say, "Um, Mr. President, who do you think you're calling a flip-flopper, isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black? Isn't that more than a tad bit hypocritical?!? Suck on this footage, big boy!" I would have had respect for Kerry if he'd come out in a press conference all pissed off with the veins in his neck popping out and told Bush through the cameras to talk junk about his war record to his FACE and maybe he could experience the first real fight he'd ever been in.

Most independent surveys of the 2000 show that Al Gore won that state, its electoral votes and the 2000 presidential election.
To say that Bush won twice is, simply, incorrect.
What is difficult to comprehend is that, after four years of his administration's lies about the reason for war in Iraq; his ignoring the President's Daily Briefing and National Intelligence Estimate that clearly warned of an imminent al-Qua'ida attack in the weeks prior to 9/11; the economy, the environment, and the erosion of civil liberties since 9/11, the voters of this country gave three-million more votes to Bush -- a life-long CON-ARTIST (just check out his record of running private companies into the ground and leaving his partners, financial backers and creditors holding the bag) and congenital LIAR -- than decorated Vietnam veteran John Kerry.
Showman P.T. Barnum is famous for saying that there's a sucker born every minute...but it's clear from the above that BARNUM WAS AN OPTIMIST.

ONE, I'd like to see how you would be as president and see if you'd even you even had the balls to call him dumb after that. It's a hard job, and yeah he's made mistakes here and there and so have you and I, we've all made mistakes at one point or another that could have affected us for the rest of our lives or someone else's. So don't start with that bullshit you dipshit. He has- 1). successfully executed two wars in the aftermath of 9/11/01: Afghanistan and Iraq. 50 million people who had lived under tyrannical regimes now live in freedom.
2). Saddam Hussein is now in prison. His two murderous sons are dead. All but a handful of the regime's senior members were killed or captured.
3).Signed the LARGEST nuclear arms reduction in world history with Russia.
4).Banned Partial Birth Abortion — by far the most significant roll-back of abortion on demand since Roe v. Wade.
5) Has been one of the strongest, if not THE strongest friend Israel has ever hand in the U.S. presidency.
6).Pushed through THREE raises for our military. Increased military pay by more than $1 billion a year.
7)Increased defense research and development spending by at least $20 billion from fiscal 2002 to 2006.
8)The only President since the founding of the UN to essentially tell that organization it is irrelevant. He said: "The conduct of the Iraqi regime is a threat to the authority of the United Nations, and a threat to peace. Iraq has answered a decade of UN demands with a decade of defiance. All the world now faces a test, and the United Nations a difficult and defining moment. Are Security Council resolutions to be honored and enforced, or cast aside without consequence? Will the United Nations serve the purpose of its founding, or will it be irrelevant?" We all know the outcome and the answer.
Oh, hell I could go on, but I'll let you figure it out. Numb nut. If I were you I'd be grateful for these and other changes, and if your not get the hell out, move to Canada or dig yourself in a hole with the rest of the ungrateful mofos.

He is smart in a sly, devious sort of way. Like a small boy that knows how to lie and pull things over on his parents.
He managed to convince the Christians that he was on their side and would push their agenda. They felt like they were losing moral ground and were desparate for anything. Now they are blind to the truth. So the Christians voted for him and other Republicans voted for him because they thought he shared their values - small government and fiscal responsibility. Boy were they both so wrong and blinded so quickly.
No one can ever say that George Bush is intelligent or well read or has a spiritual connection to his fellowman or even to God. He goes to church and uses God for his purposes.
