What is honesty but yet another lie. The truth is only an illusion of the perception of the person. Even saying that ball is red is a lie. You could see it as red and someone else could see it as red orange and yet another person could see it as orange. To lie to save yourself is not a bad thing in times of danger. For instance I saw this theory on television that the story of Jesus was started by a lie. Mary told people that he was the son of God to keep people from stoning her to death. That's what would have happened to someone in those days when they were unmarried and pregnant. So she lied to save herself and her child. And what a lie it was. It saved lots of people and did some good. However, the side effect to the lie is that because of it she got to see her son die. This is an example of how a lie becomes the truth.

yeah. its right to say that we sometimes need to lie for the benifit of other people. but i dont think that it can be justified. coz no matter how you put it, a lie is still a lie. i think deception is worse than just lying. coz if you deceive someone, its making them believe lies, or persuading them to believe lies. it isnt just lying perce, but a little over the top. decieving is a collective form of lying. coz for you to decieve, you need to say more than one lie.
no, it cant ever be justified.

I have often believed that, and it always seemed to come back to bite me in the a**. In certain extreme circumstances, yes, I believe it is necessary, but use caution, and think of what the consequences would be, both, if you told the truth, and if he found out the truth on his own.

in my opinion deception is justified when the revealing of it can cause unreversable damage, especially if the harm the deception has caused can be resolved in another way other then revealing it.

deception is never right.
You can rather hurt someone for a second than hurt them for the rest of their lives at least if you hurt someone for a second they get over it.
