And any one else, it is a simple math problem.
If there was reincarnation, then the population of all beings on earth would stay static.
But, there are more humans on the planet at this very moment than there has ever been before, and there are new species being discovered constantly.

I don't think that fulfilling your life's purpose is enough. Even though fulfilled, you'll reborn again because it's the circle of life, like the water's.
Some believes if you do good things in this life, you'll be more prosper in your next life. Same thing, if you do bad things in this life, then you'll be punished and will have a life worse than the one you're having..
Reincarnation is not stoppable unless if the earth explodes... or simply when humans have nowhere to go to live... then life will stop.

What the first guy said. You have to live a perfect life then you will stop the cycle.
I am a firm believer that what we have screwed up on in our previous lives we pay for today. It explains why I am deaf, and why I have so much pain and suffering in my ears
Sadly I screwed up pretty badly this life too so I'm due another round, but I look at the bright side..living is pretty cool

Reincarnation is a sort of religious (Oriental) belief. I suppose the only you make sure that you do not come back to this Vale of tears is that you reach the highest level of perfection. Then having reached this state of Nirvana, you have made it.
