Have a small wireless network at home - one PC has printer attached - when I log on with my laptop and try to add printer, I can see the other PC but not its attached printer.
The printer properties say share this printer.
Any ideas? Thanks.

its really hard, i've tried it myself. you may need to send what you want to print to the other computer and print from there, its much quicker that way.

Probably looking in the wrong place, where did you last use or see your printer? Well have a look over there.

No seriously, you sound like you are doing a couple of things wrong, you need to configure the system with the printer attached so tht it will share it with the network, ummm you need to look in file and print sharing I think thats what it is, must go have a sleep.

Just make sure you have the system with the printer attached configured so that the printer is shared

in control panel
select printers & faxes
select the printer you want to share
this opens a printer tasks area on the left
select share this printer
change ticked point to share this printer
done

you need to have both PCs switched on as well as the printer you may also have to install the printer software on both PC s
