Okay for England they lost on the night with Portugal due to their loss of of a forward thus the formation is messed up, mind you thanks to Rooney's Child like behavior! he deserved the red card.
Argentina, well, they were good, but Germany's better, Jens Lehmann is an experienced GoalKeeper which is why he is Germany's No. 1 goalkeeper for this years' worldcup! Germany wont give up easily! even after that leading goal by Ayala.
And Brazil? I'm sorry to say that the Coach was unbelievably arrogant using the wrong formation without Adriano in the list, he underestimated France's Defence formation.
I'm sorry to say these teams lost, but, there's still 2010, 4 years to shape up, so take it easy - Cheers!

I guess for England and Argentina it was mainly bad luck because penalty kicks can go both ways and the result will always depend on inspiration of the players.
As for Brasil, you must understand that France is too a good team and the first to score in that game would win. The French were luckier

England lost because Rooney didn't think about the team, only his personal pride.
Argentina lost because they thought the game was won 1-0, and tried to keep the result and allowed Germany to play (thanks to Pekerman).
Brazil lost because they allowed France to play as they wanted after 15 min, nobody marked Zidane and nobody moved to receive the ball, it was like who had the ball was the only one playing, and they only tried to take the ball from the french near the goal...

England....Sven...his tactics..and the disgraceful attitude of the players......Argentina....Thought they just had to show up to win....Brazil....played as a group of individuals, not as a team. Hence all three are out.
