I would say Buffon, but there are a few others. For exaple Lehmann & Ricardo.

Gianluigi Buffon is by far the best goalkeeper in the World Cup. So what if he has a fantastic defence in front of him? He still has to produce the saves when called upon. He rarely makes mistakes and is consistent. Ricardo, he's a shot stopper who doesn't command his box and drops the ball far too much. Lehman has had a good world cup, but I suspect he's due one mistake....out of the other keepers...i was impressed by the Argentinian keeper and Van De Saar...

Ricardo. Keep in mind that Buffon has the best defenders in the world in front him. I mean, Portugal has good defenders, but Italy has better. And, it's not just Ricardo's penalty saves, he made some great saves in group play and against the Netherlands, as well as one or two in the run of play against England.

Lehman's done Germany a big favour.... Buffon is probably officially ahead, but the penalty saves that Lehman has (and may have to make again) will bring him out on top..
Engalnd took poor penalties - Ricardo had nothing to do with it!!

Ricardo!!! He saved all the penalties shot except for Owen during penalty shootout.
