No.. it is the media who blows everything out of proportion that plays a major role in scaring people.. Take for instance, the turn of the 2000K millenium!! How silly!! The news was plastered with precautions.. Keep cans and water and a blanket on hand.. for what! bits and bites not getting along? Oh Brother!

I think we are more fearful and tend to understand the world through TV which is filled with violence and sensation. I don't know if it makes us become more paranoid. Not sure why but for me being paranoid. I guess in some ways I am more paranoid... like health care, big business. Maybe it is growing up on 60 Minutes over all these years.

We are so fanatical I cannot believe we havnt yet arrested and tortured ourselves for suspicion of being suspicious, seems to be the way the Gov is battling,kill the suspected before they can act and we have done a good thing.
jeepers has it really come to this? USA doesnt trust USA, so who can we trust.
