There aren't enough words to describe the vision, ability and greatness this great player possess. He will be truly missed if he retires after the world cup. Hopefully with a second world cup.

As creativity and elegance plays he deserve to be the king. No way for Ronaldinho. Brazilian have failed the match against France. About tournament' best player, the next round will definitively ask the question.
I guess many players could deserve the price.
My rankings are:
Lehman, Klose, Fringts
Buffon, Cannavaro, Toni
Figo, Ricardo, C.Ronaldo
Ribery, Vieira, Zidane.
Totti, Henry, Podolski, Pauleta have their chance in the final stage too.

No. Zidane is no longer the King. Zidane has passed his prime and he had one good game against Brazil. Too bad, Ronaldhino played badly. However, i do feel that Zidane is a big game player and he has risen to ocassion when needed most.

I am not sure if he is the 'King' but he is right up there with the best in the world! If not the 'King' then he is at the very least 'Royalty'.

No!!! Even though he played well in his previous match, you cannot judge him as it is ONE match only.
