noooo it isn't safe and it is too late to get an abortion. if the baby was 7 weeks or less she could have an abortinon but she is scared like every other woman who has a baby and she will have it and never regret it.

It's more of a humane question, in this regard doctors will abort a pregnancy with no dramas up until 22 weeks. Any further than this will require a reason such as health, deformities, etc..

An Abortion is one of the safest outpatient procedures there is. We would like to
emphasis that to date we have had NO PATIENT COMPLICATIONS IN OUR OFFICE.
We have accomplished this by only using disposable equipment for our procedures,
and by emphasizing cleanliness and sterility throughout our office. Our patient’s
safety and care is our number one priority.
Most abortions are preformed in the first trimester (Up to 12 weeks). With the
advent of the vaginal probe sonogram, women are now afforded the opportunity
to terminate their pregnancy in as early as 2 weeks.
The abortion is relatively a low risk procedure, statistically, it is 9 times more
dangerous to go through childbirth than to have a surgical abortion. However,
all risks will be carefully reviewed with you during your initial consultation
with your Board Certified physician.
A Surgical Abortion is one of the safest outpatient procedures there is. We would like to emphasis that to date we have had NO PATIENT COMPLICATIONS IN OUR OFFICE. We have accomplished this by only using disposable equipment for our procedures, and by emphasizing cleanliness and sterility throughout our office. Our patient’s safety and care is our number one priority.
Early Second Trimester Abortions (12-14 weeks) require more cervical dilation than a first trimester abortion. To accomplish this, dilators (laminaria) must be inserted into the cervical canal early in the morning.
The abortion procedure will be performed a sufficient time after insertion of the laminaria. The procedure will be performed using dilation and vacuum curettage, a suction method of emptying the uterine contents. This procedure is performed by qualified Board Certified Gynecologist under local anesthesia, IV sedation, or general anesthesia.

Yes and No.
In theory it is still safe to have the proceedure doen but then no externally induced proceedure is ever a 100% safe. If she won't change her mind then be sure to get her the best facilities possible - do not allow her to compromise on quality of the care she is going to recieve.

Abortion isn't "safe". Just like taking a gun to someone's head isn't safe.
If she really isn't ready to be a mother there are hundreds of families who would love to raise a child but can't have any of thier own

google it. And tell her to give the baby up for adoption instead of abortion. It's safer for her too, not just the baby
