Yes, you would still need some transport system in place.

Maybe not everyone would be able to do these things - for example the very young, or the very old, so they would require transport.

Transport would still be required to move goods etc...

Even if we could fly/swim etc.. transport might be good for long journeys, after all, swimming all the way from say, England to Japan would be a very tiring and very slow affair.

Even we could fly,we still needs transportations because we have to travel sometimes with weather protection as well as the heavy rains and sunny days! The most important is what about the heavy baggage, the package and the volumes of stuffs for our businesses! How could we able to ship or to deliver the goods that we need from place to place? It is impossible for a man to fly and carry things twice as heavy as his body or more than his bodyweight!Even we could fly, i think we are not the same as powerful as superman!

Yes, we do, because humans have this unfortunate habit of dragging stuff around with them. The only animals that even come close are kangaroos, and wombats, who bring their kids along in a pouch. Can you imagine swimming to Hawaii with all your beach gear in your hand? Or flying to Europe with a suitcase in one claw? Or running to New York with a bouquet in your hand to present to a special someone there?

Technically we wouldn't, but remember that we are humans and if there is one thing we're good at it's figuring out ways to work as little as possible, so I think we wouldn't NEED transport, but we'd still have it.....lazy bones and what-not

It will be nice to read Alvin Toffler's Future Shock. The man of the future will use small retro-rocket tied to his back to take him to different places and he need not have to walk. When will it be?

Yeah! what if you were sick and you couldn't run as fast, what if you broke your leg, your hand, you neck, then you couldn't walk, swim or fly, then you will be begging for a car.
